Sixty years ago, the first edition 214 caliber movement was designed to run on 1.3 volts. Readily available modern batteries put out 1.5 volts, causing many 214's to run way too fast. This Spaceview is complete with a permanent circuit modification that drops the output of modern batteries from 1.5 to 1.3 volts.
